YEAR-ROUND CLASSES
We offer instruction to diverse students, from beginners who have never touched clay before to experienced potters looking to learn and participate with other advanced ceramic artists. Except for some federal holidays, we hold classes and/or open studio literally every day of the year and for all levels of ability from beginner to advanced. Students' pieces are fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln. Many students register and attend for the whole year not only for the excellent instruction but also for the camaraderie and community. Our pottery has perhaps the best ‘open studio’ arrangement of any in the area. We offer online sign up of open studio time to adult students every week at no additional charge over the tuition fee.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
To attend a pottery class, you must register through Glen Echo Park's website. The Park's digital catalog provides current class schedules, including the start and end dates of each session, registration information, tuition fees, forms, and policies.
Classes often fill up fast so we encourage you to register as early as possible!
